If you’re having a moment, I’ll step back, let you get lost in it. Swept up in it. Immersed in it. Every memory you make, I’ll give you space, let you enjoy it, and capture it just as it happened.
I’ll balance on chairs, perch on windowsills, throw myself into bushes! Whatever it takes to tell the story of your day in the most creative, beautiful way possible. And without any of that annoying, “sorry, but would you mind…?” interruption.
Because that’s why you have a wedding photographer, right? Not so you can spend all day posing, and fake-smiling for the lens. But so you can throw yourselves into every moment. Drink, dance, make lifelong memories, and fall in love with each other in a whole new way.
Knowing that when all the confetti has settled, you can flip through the pages of your album together, and relive your day all over again.
We don’t hang them in our hallway for their clever composition, or keep looking at them because we can’t get enough of the camera settings. We love them for the memories they keep; for the people we share them with. For how we felt as they were being taken.

For me, being your wedding photographer is about so much more than just taking photos.
I get to be a part of your wedding day! Honestly, I will never get over how incredible that is! And if there’s anything I can do to make your day even the tiniest bit better, I’ll move mountains to make it happen.
I’ll make friends with the kids, dance with the grandparents and chat with all your besties. I’ll fix dresses, move chairs, solve problems, roundup wayward uncles (at one wedding I was even applying sun-cream!)
I know it sounds silly, but if you’re one of my couples, I’ll think of you as family. And that’s honestly how I want you to feel. Like you can come to me for anything, like nothing’s too much trouble. And if you ever need a single thing, I’m only a phone call away.
I don’t like to play favourites! But as a Hampshire wedding photographer, your couple’s session is probably my favourite part of the day.
We get to ditch the crowds, escape all the attention, and take a little breather for a while. And for the first time in your lives, you get to sink into that incredible, surreal, ‘we’re actually married!’ feeling. It’s a pretty special thing to be a part of.
So as your wedding photographer, I want to give you a chance to share that moment together. To really connect, have a chat, have a cuddle, and actually spend time with each other!
I’ll give you a few prompts and suggestions here and there, maybe guide you towards the best light, or a gorgeous backdrop (after all, we want to make the most of your venue, right?!)But the main thing I want to capture is you. Completely besotted, hopelessly in love, you.
Lucy was our wedding photographer and we would highly recommend her. Not only did she make us feel so comfortable but she went out of her way to help us on the day!
